OUTLINE: Scenario-based learning related to training teachers to effectively communicate and support parents on strategies to raise the attainment of a highly able students who is lacking in motivation which has resulted in the student underachieving.
OUTCOME: Teachers will be able to understand the difference between intrinsic and extrinsic motivation strategies informing parents of respective strategies to support their child at home. They will learn how to effectively adapt and empathise with parents at different stages of the interaction to form a collaborative relationship that can be continued to be fostered.Combating cognitive overload
OUTLINE: Micro-learning course training managers on the causes, effects, signs and solutions of cognitive overload in the workplace to improve employee performance.
OUTCOME: Managers will be able to understand how to optimise workflow by learning strategies to manage projects to avoid factors that contribute to cognitive overload. Furthermore, they will be able to identify the signs and symptoms of cognitive overload in employees, with appropriate solutions.
